You do need to have some distance ....25-28 feet will do and my rule is about 3 feet high. Which puts your lights at the bottom edge of most sedan's outside mirrors. As far as a razor sharp cutoff ....I don't have the answer for ya....I've never worked with the TSX projector but one of my brackets and a D2S 5.0 projector can fix it:)

You're the second person to mention that to me today. My arm's twisting.

This is what I ended up with. I set height at 36". I feel the throw is kind of short still, though. :meh:

 
Those are really low man. When you had told me I was thinking low, but not that low!
 
Well sonuvabich.

What height should I be looking for then? Or should I be measuring off of the lower arm of the step or the upper?
