Did you name you new ice cream "Birchnilla?"

I love the name...

...thought about paying Johnny and the gang at Overland to do the CV, the older I get the more I dislike the maintenance stuff and just enjoy bolting on shiny parts. In the end I needed to get the 100 back up and running and the warm weather was motivation enough to get her done. So nice to have a competent Cruiser shop in our neighborhood though!

All back together with a new UCA ball joint boot!

So I bought some yellow film for my fog lights... ya know for contrast on the snow. And I think I got carried away with it

Got tired of all my wiring so I gutted all of it. It was all safe and worked properly but it was really messy. I am also getting ready to wire up dual batteries using a blue sea 7622 acr so I figured now is the time to make it nice. Going to make actual harnesses for everything and link it all into my Bussman water proof fuse box that some things were already wired into but it will be much cleaner this time. The bussman has room for 10 fuses and 5 relays all in a box that is about 4" x 6" and it is rated for 80 amps so its much cleaner than using a blue sea fuse panel and individual relays that are all exposed, the only downside is that it takes special crimpers and connectors to put it all together. The compressor will be moved inside to the rear quarter panel and the second battery will go where it was on the fender

Jonny what’s the back of that fuse/relay box look like? Is it easy to wire up? I’m assuming it’s a factory push pin style? I’ve eyes them in the past but haven’t had enough info to go for one. It’s a nice compact design.

I’m sure you’ve seen these all in one “pods” that are just two wire hook up then controlled by Bluetooth, I like them but don’t want to be dependent on my phone for operation.

Here ya go Drew! It's similar to the factory style but in this case the connector that is on the wire side gets crimped on the stripped wire but it also crimps around the insulation with a rubber boots so that when you shove it into the fuse block it seals. One side of the fuses are powered by a wire straight from the battery and then you can link it to the relay to power it and the switch in the cab can be fused too. That why I have a 15 amp (accessory) then 3 amp (switch), 15 amp 3 amp.

those look like weatherpack terminal ends.

Replaced the ignition on the 4runner today at 32 years old and 345k. I cant really complain about it not turning with the key in anymore.

Haven't done anything with either of my toyotas but I did spot @REZARF 's 100 parked near a ghost bobcat just a few minutes ago.
