DRLs are dimmed by dropping the voltage, I believe. Some LEDs have trouble with that (not sure about those in the link).

A good option (not LED, but works like factory, much brighter high beams) is HIR bulbs. 2 minutes to modify the bulbs to make them fit the socket: How to Modify HIR bulb bases. They're not strictly amber in color, but yellow like factory.

Around a 6k temp? Amber seems to do best for me with heavy particulate in the air.
