Keep em coming! I've really enjoyed the series thus far. At some point it would be interesting to see an episode on how the cruiser has been holding up (other than shock bushings!).
BACK TO THE BEACH!! Thank goodness. I feel at home in the mountains, desert or at the beach. Time to head to one of those.
We also get to help our new friends get unstuck off the beach. First use of our Maxtrax on this trip!
No break ins, thefts or even pick pockets. In the big cities we feel the least safe, but we tend to avoid those. In the beginning of the trip we were a bit more shy about walking up to what appears to be a sketchy house or community to ask for directions or other info, but now we do it all the time. The people with the least have given the most to us and we try to do the same.Enjoyed your video. Has it been pretty obvious when and where the unsafe areas are and how to stay away from them as far as crime? Has anyone tried to break into your rig if u leave it unattended ?
Such a great area! Once we hit San Diego beach we had to chill for a few days!We loved Puerto Escondido when we were there years ago. We planned on staying just a couple days and ended up staying ten!
Boondocking around the high pine forests of Mexico.
She is 100% the better photog!... and writer... and editor... and... HahaGreat videos! Kelsey is the better photographer as evidenced by the flora closeups in the beginning of this series (maybe you should sleep in more Tim ). Applaud you both for living out your dream while most of us simply...dream. Curious why your series didn't detail your 80 build. It would be neat to hear from you about your truck, mods, what's working, what's not? Would you choose a different platform altogether if doing it over or does the 80 series fit with this type of extended travel? Sucks about the corruption in Mexico. I think you two are quite brave actually and fortunate to have just the one incident in Mexico city...I've been hit each and every time across the border, but seems that sticking to off highway areas has its benefits. Have you had any "sketchy" encounters in the remote areas? Thanks for the updates and videos...very inspiring!
