Help a moron... rear seat won’t fold. (1 Viewer)

I’m apparently doing something really wrong but i can’t seem to get he rear seat bottom to fold forward. From what I remember there is a catch in the center between the cushions that needs to be accessed. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m looking for a handout. Anyone feeling charitable?

There is usually a small loop wedged back between the seat back and base. Grab said loop and pull and it should release the catch and lift the seat forwards.

For those who may have similar lapses, the “loop” is actually made of metal and not the poor fabric loop I kept wanting to yank on.

Normally there is a fabric loop sewed onto the metal loop you pulled. Which is fished through the fabric loop sewed on higher so it is easier to find from above.

Hmmm. I think yours is missing the fabric loop. I will look at mine when I can get a chance.

Fabric loop on mine but you should still be able to grab the small loop on the back of the seat (seen above) and pull.
