PHH completely kicked my ass. I actually had to come inside for a few and look through the faq pics so I could find the little bastard. I used my kit from @NLXTACY. Thank you for the bits & pieces!
Let's see: tried to be stubborn and get it without disconnecting the hard line. I finally undid the top (hcv and top bracket) and broke the bottom bracket.
both of my breeze clamps came undone completely, and I stubbornly fought trying to get them started while still up in there.
I eventually got it all back together though. (going out in a few to double check bolts that went back on in the dark and fill her back up with coolant).
To those that have actually undone the bottom bracket bolt of the hardline (WTF)? I couldn't even get my little 1/4" drive and 12mm deep socket in between the 2 hardlines to get at that bolt.
I think if I had to do the PHH on the roadside, I would thermal charge my truck and start walking.

Flex-head 3/8" ratchet was what I used back when I did mine.

Drove it to pick up a new-to-me Tacoma (2.7 4cyl, SR5 PreRunner)! This will now be my daily (since it gets 20mpg), and the Cruiser will be my weekend/adventure/people hauler. :bounce:

It needs a little TLC, but no frame rust and mechanically it's in really great shape. Looking forward to learning a new truck!

Now you can get her dirty your way. Clean slate. Awesome results. Looking forward to some dirt and mud

Thanks man! I’m almost afraid to wheel it now

Have the 97 LX450 that I want to start restoring back to luxury SUV status and now have the 97 Cammo Cruiser all set up for trails. Needed a new DD that I can feel is reliable and possibly hand down to my son. Found a solution .... I've always wanted a white one. 96 Cruiser headed east

Rebuilt an old A/C idler pulley with a new bearing. Pulled it in with a bolt and some washers. Bearing was in the freezer then lubed with Sil-Glyde.

Ready for new belts.

Nothing too exciting... Replaced my door check assembly so it doesn't shut on me all the time, as well as replaced 2 out of 3 broken exhaust hanger bushings

Going to attempt new tie rod ends, and rear heater bypass this weekend.
Slowly getting those little things done..

Removed the faded wood trim on the dash and door panels. Wouldn’t have removed them if they looked as new as my old LX450’s trim (God I miss that one). 2 hours with a plastic putty knife and heat gun to remove trim and tape.. 30 minutes of clean up with red shop rags and WD-40. Two thumbs up for a one banana job
