Auto Mode - turning off auto Mirror Dimming (1 Viewer)

Any thoughts on how to change the default behavior of the Auto Mode dimming of the mirrors?

This from the 2011 LC Owner's Manual - my car.

I NEVER use this and would love to stop it from auto turning it on with every restart of the car.
