Greetings, My name is Bob Burth. I recently bought a 1976 FJ40 with 2 hardtops, 1 with a lift gate, 1 with ambulance doors. I have a 10 minute commute to work. I'd like to make it into a semi-daily driver. Mostly just pulling a small pop up camper or 14ft aluminum fishing boat a few times a year. It currently has a carbureted SBC conversion.

Welcome and Enjoy driving it and now you found a new place to stash all of your cash !!

I'll like it more when the brakes are working again

Great looking rig.

Too bad it's not a '75,

Welcome Bob. You have just entered an alternate universe and something will occupy your mind and extra cash. A 40 is never finished, it slowly becomes an addiction. We love ours and when it finishes it's frame off restoration I will be at a loss to find something to do.

Welcome to the madness Bob ........good to have another northern rust belt member. You will find it's a lonely existence for us :censor:
