Yep, “gateway drug” to drawers in the grand scheme.
Unless you keep it minimalist & keep winch gear / tools bagged & strapped in.
But drawers give you a sleep platform if you don’t go “full overland” & RTT it.

Mine actually started bending inward. Too much weight when fitted with two filled water cans while off road.
Weird mine has been in the truck for 5.5 years with 5 gallons of water and 5 gallons of fuel and I have had zero issues.
upon review mine look like they have a little more support than just the wire mesh in the ones in the first post.

On the website they are shown with the extra support and the mesh. Maybe the pictures in this thread are different than what is currently made.
