Every two rotations of the crank lines up the cams, crank, and the crank sprocket notch on the oil pump mark perfectly. The "problem" is with the marks on the timing belt.

I removed/installed the belts with the crank set to the 50* nub which put the cams at the "T". Then I rotated the crank a couple times and the timing marks on the cams and crank were all one tooth forward. I got a workout and about 20 more revolutions later I'm now about six teeth behind. I can't get the timing belt marks to line up with the notches/marks on the cams/crank. They seem to fall behind one tooth every couple revolutions of the crank. But, again, every two revolutions and the crank pulley lines up with the cams perfectly. Is this normal or is something off?

Marks on the belt are only there for installation. As long as your timing marks line up, all good!
