Am I missing two transmission bolts? (1 Viewer)

I had the 100 for 10 months and put about 13k miles on it. I just notice there are two empty holes with threading on it. Is it suppose to be empty? Or P.O. had work done and forgot to it?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure that's normal. I think those empty holes are just there to line up to the metal guide pin on the block mating surface.

Attached a pic of the back of a 2JZ motor. Notice the metal guides sticking out the back in a few spots. that's just to make sure you put the trans in straight.

I’m pretty sure those are tooling holes...just looking at the mating part, there’s no flat for the head of a bolt to rest, so there is likely no bolt mising
