I just replaced the linkage on my front windshield wipers and now the driver side wiper won't do a full sweep. Passenger side is just fine, driver side only does about 2/3. It's not a loose nut holding the wiper arm on the post; that's goodntight. I read somewhere that this means the linkage needs to be shorter (or longer?) on the driver side.

So: does anyone know the procedure for evening up the wiper linkage? Because I'm stumped.

Never mind, I got it. For anyone else dealing with this in the future: Bolt both wiper posts into place, then adjust the linkage before installing the motor. The linkage needs to go all the way toward the driver side fender so the joint between the long arm of the linkage and the short arm on the driver side post looks like this: __\. You'll get a full sweep out of the driver side wiper and can adjust both wiper positions from there.
