While installing my winch today I ran into a scenario regarding the winch power cables hooking up to my battery terminals. I was going to just hook up the - winch power cable to the - terminal on my battery and + to + but I ran across a terminal upgrade and wanted opinions.
Some of the off road guys say to upgrade your terminals to the types listed below. I have just your basic battery terminals (pictured below).
Anyone have any issues with flickering of gauges, etc with the old school way or do you recommend I go for the upgraded battery terminals listed in the second picture?
