Still got any for a 97?

Did you ever put something together for the 91/92 3fe?

I have plugs for both OBDI and OBDII engines and that covers 93-97. I don't think you have to worry about it on the 3fe, but I am not completely familiar with the EGR and monitoring setup on that engine so I would recommend you double check.

I've been entertaining the thought of an egr delete. Is this an alternative to an egr delete that yields the same result?

This plug allows you to disable the EGR system without causing the ECM to throw a code. The plug gives the ECM the value it looks for preventing the code. You will still need to block or plug a few vacuum lines to completely disable the EGR system.

so should a person just try to use this plug first, if it comes back then you have to plug some lines on EGR? or just plug them? got a picture of what to plug on a 97?

The code shouldn't come back with this in place, but that doesn't mean that another part of the EGR system isn't still allowing the exhaust gas to recirculate into the intake.
