FJ62 Switch Doctor Master Switch (1 Viewer)

This is my second aftermarket part post in 48 hours where Ive had problems...starting to believe the OEM hype...Purchased an aftermarket master window/lock switch from Switch Doctor and am having issues even after performing the wire swap they say you need to do. See pictures for the jist of my issues. Ive compared the old blown out switch to the new from the inside out and all wires start and go to the same places. But after opening up the both switches I found a melted soldered mess inside the old switch that Im guessing the PO rigged up. Based on my pictures is there any fix for my problem of the switches doing what they are doing?

The soldered mess in the first pic was to bypass the window lock switch.

On my 88’ the wiring is as shown in the pic below. The GL and GY may just need to be swapped. Pins 4 and 8 on the switch connector.

Glad it worked.
Would the plastic piece with the wiring of the aftermarket switch fit into the OEM housing and cover? I was looking to buy one but I have the blue grey interior.

Do a search on Amazon. Very affordable.

I bought one and had to swap a couple of wires. I am pretty certain the wire colors are the same, so all I had to do was make the new plug match the old plug. Works well.
