Hi I've just bought a 75series with a 1hz engine. I'm currently doing the timing, I've lined up the cam gear injector gear but noticed the crank/harmonic pulley isn't lined up.. should it be? And can i turn it with cam in?

Hey have you got access to a fsm? (Factory service manual). That goes over it in there and is pretty darn easy to follow. Hope that helps. Cheers

You can find the manual in the 'sticky' threads at the top of this 70 series forum area. Here are the pages that should help....
You MUST have the #1 piston at TDC for these steps to work. Otherwise start over.

Awesome thanks just not to familiar with tdc nor how to know if the first is in like with tdc

When you have the belt back on, turn the engine over by hand a few turns and double check the alignment marks. Dont use the starter motor until you are 100% sure everything is aligned.
