Today dad and I slapped an OME 850J/863 lift on the cruiser. Much nicer than the old Factory suspension.

Used the 80 to get a tire repair kit for my 200. Damn unreliable 200's!

Pesky heater hose and brake bleed and oil change to full synthetic. I used The Gates Green Stripe in constant tension clamps from absolute wit's end.

It's a besttop cover with a trasharoo on it. Cover is very nice in my opinion and easy to put on .

Really liked Devil's punchbowl. I don't know why, but really like the fact they printed two warning signs and posted them right on top of each other at the enterence. Like to say, if we have to say this twice, we really mean it. If I recall, this short trail has had the most fatalities of any Colorado trail.View attachment 1790061 View attachment 1790062 View attachment 1790063 View attachment 1790064
Yup a family rolled off and all died, it is a nice trail very pretty, the pic of you in the turn right next to the punch bowl is where it used to be bunch big ledges and the forest service came in and knocked it down. I lived there for awhile and is always fun spot to go, you can jump from the road to the punch bowls and there are a couple of caves in the area

Usual 5k oil and filter change. Preventative charcoal canister replacement.

Mounted my air tank finally in expectation of finally finishing the base-lining and getting out on trails.

These should help with the trails too. Going to be a big week for the Cruiser.

Bled the brakes.

Installed my sub/amp combo in factory sub location.

Removed factory sound deadener with dry ice. Just smashed it up and spread it around and then lifted our the factory deadener on huge chunks by hand. It worked like a champ. Then in stalled noico sound deadener with a layer of their sound proofing foam on top. Still need to do the front two rows. Got free labor out of my nephew.

Look how tiny the old tires were!
