Did a trip to Big Bear. Friend of a friend showed up.
Unicorn #1 was a 1981 Toyota Trekker. Winnebago took 1200 from Toyota over 3 years, added a fiberglass shell and rear seat. This thing was the father of the Forerunner. Anyway, it kept up with us, no problem.
Unicorn #2. Torrential rain in mid August.

I had this in the 200 series forum and it was moved here. So not a unicorn for you folks...
Anyway, very cool vehicle. He found an El Salvadoran to rebuild the carburator. I guess they still have a lot of old cars down there.

They're around, but few and far between. Nice to see such a clean one!

That might be a unicorn for you, but we've had more days of rain each week this summer than dry ones. I keep expecting to answer the door and find someone named Noah here to talk about an ark he's building…
