Oil or coolant?
I said it was a stupid question. Water coolant. With about 16 litre capacity I can drain only 8 litres from the radiator , having forced a screwdriver through the sludge, so the other 8 is hiding in the block. Nowhere can I see a drain plug . Help needed.

Not a stupid question, I've learned something new today as well.

3B Engine Block Coolant Drain
THanks John, that's pretty clear but I can't see it . It's a bit of a Jungle down there but I can't even feel it. I've looked on the other side as well. R or LHD shouldn't make a difference should it? I think I shall have to resort to filling and draining a few times but I hate the defeatist attitude. All the best.

I'll go out today and see if I can get a clearer picture on mine.

This is what I've done in the past. With enough drain and fills you can effectively get all the old coolant out of the block :meh:
