Hey guys, need some help, 1997 FZJ80 that I picked up a few weeks ago, makes a buzzing sound while on the free way (60 mph+) anytime I make a banking right turn.

The Buzz changes with wheel speed, engine rpm does nothing to the noise, and applying brakes does nothing (other than slowing down the wheel speed).

My initial thought was that the torn up engine skirts were rubbing on the inside of the tires, but I made some new ones and installed them last night and the noise persists.

My mud searches suggest it could be a heat shield on the back of the engine, forward of the firewall but I have not yet had a chance to look, any other ideas or things to check?

I'm thinking wheel bearing. I just went through this in where the right front wheel would make the "wump wump" noise of a mud style tire and this would vary depending on wheel speed and cornering. When I tore it open the wheel bearing race was scored pretty badly. After the rebuild its now smooth sailing.
