Thermostat housing gasket or sealant? (1 Viewer)

Hi, all.
I recently got my mechanic to replace the alternator on my 1998 100 series 2UZ FE.
He said I would soon need a gasket for my thermostat housing. Please see pic.
After reading some threads, I don’t know if it is a gasket or sealant that is needed where the red arrow points to.
Any help would be great!

I do believe it is just sealant I don't see a gasket other than whats for the thermostat on the parts diagram

Do you know if Toyota do a special one or would any sealant do?

00295-00103 is the Toyota FIPG that should be used in that area.
