Looks like the PO recovered them and then just put the whole project aside. The upright on the rear bench looks great because it was folded down. The front looks like the car might have found it to be a good hang out spot. With a little clean up the front looks like it could work out okay as the foam looks good.

Man, I ran into the same issue. I have two or three complete rear seats and no idea what to do with them, due to horrendous shipping costs. Let me know if you solve that!

Pull those hog rings from around the spring frames and the covers should slip off.
