How concerned should I be about the connectors and this hose? The one with black hose (not the spiral one). Found it under the driver side wheel well cover when changing an O2 sensor. 2004 LX470

That’s one of your AHC hoses (hydraulic suspension) and if rusted badly enough, can break causing you to lose a good amount of AHC fluid and the functionality of your suspension.

I would try to see how much corrosion is actually on the piece and depending on that either treat or replace. The last thing you want is to be stranded due to a rusty hose.
 
Thanks - I will spray it with some fluid film in the next couple days and hope for the best. If the hose happens to fail, that wouldn't cause damage any of the remaining components of the AHC system, would it?
 
Hard to say for sure but the AHC pump would shut itself off after some time to protect itself.
