I replaced the bad motor in drivers window of 2003 sequoia with an aftermarket replacement.

When you use auto up, the window closes then rolls back down halfway. I have used a few different methods to reset the "window pinch" feature, but no luck. I have had the window regulator and motor in and out 3 times trying to get it to work with no luck. Auto down works fine.

Anyone have experience with this problem?

No solution, but my 4Runner was broken in to and the drivers window smashed. In December. After waiting two days insurance got an appointment at Payless glass in the worst part of the city. When done and after leaving the shop I had the same problem.

The guy said to try it for 10 or so rollups and it would “learn” where to stop.

After sitting with a few guys drinking something out of paper bags I wasn ‘t going to argue. I wanted outta there.

I rarely lower the window and some day will get it fixed.

Take it to the dealer. Simple fix actually.
