Hi Guys,
Just picked up a '95 80 series. I'm moving over to the land cruiser from an '84 M1009. The 80 series I picked up is bone stock and I'd like to get a lift for it in the near future. I'm thinking 35's, but am not sure on the amount of lift. I really hated the M1009 stuffing the tires in the fender on 36s with a 4in lift that was a bit tired so I'd like to avoid that from the start. It looks like a Slee 4in or an OME setup are the two main options. What do people like for running the sierras and Baja? Any events going on locally where I could see some rigs and get an idea of what each looks like in person?

FYI, you can easily fit 35"s (315/75/16) with a 2.5" lift and you'll avoid the headaches that come with going 4" or more. Especially if you stick with wheel offsets close to stock.

Grats on the new Rig!

Beach and Toys meeting are first Tuesday of each month up in Escondido at Mike BBQ at 630 pm. Bunch of us have 80's so you can eyeball them if you come up. We are also in the club page.
