Hi,

I bought a passenger window switch for my 2000 land cruiser and it fit perfectly. When I plug it in, the window does nothing. (the old one only rolls the window up). I bought one of these:

84810-60050 - Genuine Toyota SWITCH ASSY, POWER WINDOW REGULATOR

Part #84810-60050

The ONLY difference is the the OLD unit in the truck says "2" after ABS and this NEW switch says "1" after ABS. I'n confused because the site I bought from does not split out the parts (says three for truck)

Busted or wrong part?

Did you try to clean the contact points inside the old switch? Simply clean the carbon buildup at the contact points and it should be ready to go. Apply some dielectric grease at those copper plates.

While i'll give that a try, i'm sitting on a $80 OEM switch that I don't know if it works.
