Hell yeah those turned out great!!! Love it and with your description I can see the color now, very cool with a utilitarian tone that you don’t see everywhere. Would be a great choice for wheels too. Well chosen!

Hard to tell on the monitor, but it's a great dark brown/grey, really looks like an oil slick, even has a little metallic shimmer to it.

For anyone else looking, it's called Soft Rubbed Bronze by Cardinal (UMB-1326)j and I'll be pc'ing the rack and front bumper this fall when things slow down for me and the pc shop.

New Dissent front and rear bumpers this week plus a few other odds and ends (thanks @reevesci for getting that antenna mount out to me so quick!)

I also want to thank @benc for working with me to get these bumpers done and out to me in time for HIHs. You are the man!

The quality of these bumpers is just crazy! I’ve had 3 random people comment about the welds this weekend. My wife even noticed them. Truly awesome craftsmanship.

I also installed the adjustable Tough Dog rear shocks today. (Thanks again @reevesci) They are awesome. If you are on the fence about them just do it! The ride is amazing! I wouldn’t have thought it possible before these.

I took a few cell phone pics and will have to get some better ones later. I’m running out of time before HIHs!:)

Beautiful Rig man!

Took my front bumper off in preparation for a bigger body lift; running boards, rear bumper and spare wheel carrier coming off tonight.

Also discovered what I think is a leak in the rear main seal :( getting an inspection mirror this afternoon so I can check if it is coming from the rear of the rocker cover

Love your truck, especially the bumpers. Mine are on order....8-10 weeks!

Re-foamed my front speakers today, trying them out tomorrow after they sit overnight to fully cure. Haven't done the subwoofer yet but the tutorials here for front door panel removal made those a total breeze so I suspect similar results. Didn't realize the rear door speakers were a smaller size so need to exchange for the correct kit, so I just sealed them up in the meantime. Much cheaper than a new sound system if you are content with original factory acoustic. I'm adding my AUX-in tomorrow via the GROM unit. That should suffice for my music needs.
I also added a 2006/07 style grille. Quality isn't as good as factory so I will source an original one out and switch it over at some point in the future.

Dipped my rear emblems. 3 coats of plasti dip and 2 coats of glossifer. 1 hour job, and cheaper than the 300$ black pearl emblems on eBay.

Heading to Napa to pick up some 555 ball joints and ordered my SPC UCAs (Only $540 with free 2 day prime shipping on Amazon!) One day this truck will need nothing and I can just go buy fun stuff. Silly UCA money was supposed to go towards sliders!

Thanks! 285s, and I have Fox 2.0 with OME TBs and medium springs in back. It is higher in the back because I probably have 20 lbs. of air in the airbags for towing.
Do you happen to know exactly which airbag setup you're running? I need to add one to mine and it's a bit confusing given the OME lift, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Finally got to experience 'cruising long distance. It was 2,000 trouble-free automotive miles @ around 13 MPGs from Austin, Texas to Grand Lake, Colorado with stops in DFW area, Amarillo, and Denver.

Getting over the 11,000 ft Berthoud Pass (IE - the continental divide) involved lots of brakes & flooring it in a low gear. No worries though since all critical service items (fluids, Ts, 90k service, bearings, brakes, road force tire balance) were done prior to hitting the road.

Looks great! What did you use to remove and reapply them?

I cleaned the badges, then taped them off with painters tape, and then sprayed. Lots of tutorials on YouTube. I was shocked at how easy it was to use plastidip. You just pull the it off, and the plastidip clings to the badges. Amazing.

Oddly enough, I also did this this last weekend.

I also did the grill. I really love how this turned out.

I also finally got around to doing Land Cruiser Phil's mud flap delete.

Airlift Airbags. Valve them separately so when you have an issue with yours, as I did with my 4R, it is easy to determine which one it is.

is that grey or black? looks good!

It was "Anthracite Grey (True Metallic)".

I went through about a can and a half. I tried to do 8 coats on the grill.
I still need to do the lower chrome trim pieces on the tail gate.

FWIW - that stuff is fun to peel.
