Yep, that's the view from my driveway. Decided to take the pressure washer out and clean her off a little bit that evening.

The forest service roads are finally opening and my wife and I attempted to run a few of them today. It was obvious we were the first vehicle to get out on one of the trails this year as we had to clear a dozen or more trees by cutting and winching them off the trails. The rain from Hurricane Bud is finally making its way through the state too, so it was raining pretty damn hard at times.

At one point I was out running the winch rope to secure it to a tree in pouring rain and soupy mud. I had the scene from Jurassic Park playing in my head when that lizard spits in Newman's face when he's trying to winch up the Jeep lol.

The rain completely stopped and the sun came out for a brief moment so we could have lunch on the tail gate. What a great day.

Excuse my heavy breathing. We were above 8,000' and I was running all over clearing trees and guiding my wife through tight spots.

My kids and I took a Father's Day drive up to the High Lakes outside of Chico (Northern California). Lots of dust but some good obstacles. The pics of my rig didn't turn out great because the camera was set wrong and don't really show the angles and rocks well. We spent most of the time riding instead of doing many pictures. Just so you know, I did not follow my buddy and his Rubicon up that last hill and we turned around there. Since it's my daily driver, I'm not ready to risk body damage. I'm not sure I could have made it up there anyway. No bumper upgrades, lift or skid plates... yet. Maybe when a new 200 is sitting in my garage, this one will get built!

Spotted a fellow 100 Series as well as a nice Sequoia that were both for sale (the far right 100; not mine in the middle;))....so I naturally had to get a pic with both of them. That was my first time looking at a Sequoia up close and I guess I have been out of the loop because I didn't realize they have independent rear suspension...Definitely not a fan of that!

Hey there, new member and 100 owner so figured I'd do an introduction here I guess (if you're in the TLCA Facebook Group, you may have seen my post there as well). Bought a 98 this month as my first Cruiser/4x4 and have a long ways to go before it looks as good as anything here. Coming from a G35, so no real firsthand experience as far as 4x4s go but I've been in the market for a Toyota truck for about 6 months and have lurked quite extensively. Some info if anyone cares: 2 owner, rear locker, "fully loaded," 169k on her. New England truck so I have a little bit of work cut out for me as far as rust goes (it isn't bad at all -- not for the price I paid, it's mostly surface and just needs attention). Thanks.
