A journey with my boys- The Elf Barn as I call it. (3 Viewers)

Elves are at tennis camp at UT Austin and ND. Not much happening. I spent a few hours at the barn tidying up. Also bought a small gift for me and the boys. An array of rasp files for use on an air rotary drill.

Nice!!! Nice next project for sure. Your guy who is enjoying the go kart is looking at a patina Chevy 3100 truck.

Thanks for sharing from across the planet.

We will be hitting the barn this weekend after a busy summer. Excited. Trying to fix my my wifes gx 470 which has a leaky evaporator.

Needed to take a few things more off than in my 60.

Dark spots on Evap shows leak area.

Tedious. Not difficult. Got to tag and bag carefully.

Thanks man. New Denso Evap core and heater was installed. Evap core back in truck. Doing a vacuum hold test. If good, then all the bits get put back in tomorrow. Honestly looking forward to doing that believe it or not. MrT did us right by making every connector unique.

No probs Ceylonfj40nut.

It was the same with the wiring connectors on my Battle Cruiser, each was a different pattern/configuration.
Good to see MrT has maintained his standard.

Regards
Homer

Worked hard at getting my wifes gx 470 done. Blowing ice cubes. Put in a new dash while I had it out. The old dash had cracks in it. A Mnfr defect. Missed the deadline for replacement. It was 108F outside as I was wrapping this up. Glad it is done.

Kohomada. Nice to know a fellow Lankan Cruiser Head . ^^^^ on the Arrack. It was hot!!

We brought Scarlet (fj60) the barn this weekend. Going to change oil, tighten ubolts, grease prop shafts/shackles/ujoints, tighten knuckle steering studs, inspect brakes, inspect hoses/ belts, and put new rear hatch struts. Getting it ready for our SAS Ouray trip. Boys are stoked.

Getting at Scarlet. Looked good until we hit the rear ubolts. Tow bolts were missing and others were loose . Got grade eight lock washers and did every ubolt on the truck. Son also trimmed the ubolts when done.

Added some zinc additive to delo oil as part of fluid change. Also put on new rear hatch struts to make SAS tailgating that much more enjoyable. Threw out the broom stick prop. I think I will enjoy this change the most. Hatch goes up by itself. Never knew that:D.

We also worked on my sons pony. Last round of primer surfacer. Never thought we would get to this stage.
