I think those list prices are low from what I have seen

And think about all the doo-dads a 2018 has vs the 100, esp the 98-02 like mine....Not ridiculous in terms of the increase.

It is cool to see the jump in 2000 with the ATRAC, but not much for the 2003 facelift. Interesting!

The year is 1913. Before the Federal Reserve Bank a dollar had a dollar of buying power.
Today, 105 years after the Federal Reserve Bank a dollar has about 2-3 cents of buying power.
Central Banks are the root of all evil.

Sure the prices are off relative to ACTUAL price paid. These were merely published "Suggested Retail Prices".

Interesting to see the price drop in 2002. How often do you see price decreases these days??

Well, here's Japan rate of inflation/deflation between 1/98-1/07

those prices are 8-10k off.

The price for the 1999 is probably for the "poverty pack" (cloth seats, no sunroof. etc). I think the price for an 'average" 1999 was closer to $51k-52k. Options added around $5000+ and it seems like most of the 99's I have seen had nearly all of the available options

I stole this picture from this link.
