cat collector muffler inlet diameter (1 Viewer)

searched but couldn't find anything related to the pipe diameter just before the muffler inlet and after the collector for the 2 cats.
I believe the stock pipe sizing to be 2.25", can someone confirm?

nevermind did some digging looks like stock sizing is 2.25

I'm considering a Magnaflow 2.5 in 2.5 out straight through muffler.

MagnaFlow 12586
2.5 center inlet, 2.5" offset outlet.
22" long muffler (stock is 24)
11" wide (stock is 13")
5" tall (stock is 6" irrc)

Put a similar muffler on my fj80 and was really happy with the sound and there was most definitely a torque increase.

please keep us in the loop. Any plans to chop the resonator off? I think the 07's still had it. It's the low hanging fruit next to the spare. Been wanting to hack mine out

i said chop, I should have said "unbolt"... been meaning to get some tube to replace the resonator with. I wish I had 2.5" bender dies...
