Going to Moab next weekend - pull the mudflaps or leave them (1 Viewer)

I am going to Moab next weekend and will be running Copper Ridge Trail (rated at 4). I am lifted about 1" and have 32" tires, with Slee sliders. I used to pull the mudflaps off my LX450 when i went to Moab. But don't want to if I don't need to.

Any thoughts either way?

I lost a mudflap in Moab on golden spike which is rated at 7. I think you will be fine for 4 rated trail. Your call.

I took them off and trimmed them flush with the bumper.

I'd leave them on personally. The are designed to flex to an extent. Also keeps rocks from kicking up onto the painted panels when running down the fireroads and washboards.
