I have a 96 Land Cruiser and yesterday the brake booster went out. Where is a good place in Tucson to have the work done?

Is it an easy repair to do myself?

Thanks,

Chad

brake boosters aren't hard to replace, you just need someone to help bleed the brakes afterward...

Cool I thought it wasn't a hard job. I'll try it myself.

Thanks,

Chad

I did this job a few months ago. replacement boosters available on rock auto worked well for me. It's a tight fit, but doable by yourself.

If you don't disconnect the lines, don't need to bleed.

I ordered the part from Rock Auto. My 5% coupon just expired :(

The booster doesn't look that old. When I bought it a year and a half ago, it had a bunch of work done but I guess they used the cheapest parts because I had to replace the Auto Zone alternator in December and now the brake booster. Hopefully with my using better parts It'll keep running longer between repairs. :)
