anyone camp with a trailer? Have a 2.5 year old and was thinking be fun to camp with her. Saw a no boundaries 10.6 trailer. Ability to haul an atv and is light weight with off road tires.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions etc

Lots of the members camp with a trailer. I have for years and admit that rolling with a camping trailer made it possible to enjoy camping again. Run some searches here on the 200 forum using the terms "RV trailer" and "toy hauler" and you'll get many threads to get you started. Then go to the dedicated "Camping and Outdoor Gear" and the "Trailer Tech" forums here on MUD. They will give you a bunch more info, since your question is not specific to the 200 series. It would be great to take the 2.5 year old camping!

I would also suggest the forum on expo portal Expedition Portal Forum There is a whole lot of information on trailers and a classified section with lots of used equipment as well as trailers.

Have you seen the popup campers with the ability to haul an ATV? I had a popup years ago and I really wanted to move into the "toy hauler" popup. They do not take up much space and are much easier to tow imho. Starcraft made some of them. I went from a tent to a popup, then a full size 29' trailer and now back to a tent.

Haven’t looked into tents. Figured with a young child easier to stay inside camper

We have been tent camping for about ten years from the time oldest was in Indian Guides to now my youngest is working through Boy Scouts. Works well for us.

I would say less expensive but everything we do seems to cost an inordinate amount of money. From gear to cookware so couldn’t say it’s cheaper but we can go places a travel trailer can’t get

My young kids love the camper ( they love tents too). We mix up long travel trips and weekend campouts. It's our vacation home away from home. Sometimes a beach house. Other times as a cabin in the woods. Love it a it's always ready to go with a full complement of stuff. Just add clothing, fill the water tank, and food.

The LC is a perfect adventure vehicle. Lots of capacity to tow/haul anything you'd like. Super stable even on account of a short wheelbase. Just pair with a good weight/antisway hitch. And nothing beats its manueverability to put a camper right where u want it.

without too many issues. The grandkids have had a ball. The LC and the LX both haul the little guy with a lot less drama than the Pathfinder or 4Runner did.
