Toyota landcruiser hj60 transmission cable broken off (1 Viewer)

Hi i have a broken of cable (like the battery cable) on my 5 speed transmission or transfercase . Its in the front of it on one of the bolts.
It looks like an earth if it is. does it goes to the chassie or what do you think? Kinda regards

it probably does go to the chassis
look for a broken braided cable on the chassis.

The transfer case needs to be grounded to the body with a wire.

Yes connect it to the chassis.It goes from one of the startermotor bolts to a M8 nut in the chassis

You can see it in the middle off the picture.
