I used the method others have posted about removing this one (the one in the frame) I tried the all-thread and nut method to tried and pull it out...nothing doing.
So I drilled out the rubber material. I used a small bit, with the holes closely spaced, then went back with a 1/4" bit. That got quite a bit of rubber out. I used a small sledge to pound out the sleeve. I was thinking that a deep 1 7/16" hole saw might work.
Once the inner sleeve was removed, I used a sawsall to score two lines down the length of the shell. The shell metal is fairly thin and soft, so be careful not to get into the frame material. I then took a punch and collapsed the shell and removed it. I didn't want to take a chance and cut thru the shell.
