Looking to setup a winch for multiple uses. I have a 2016 Tundra crew max TRD 4x4 that I use as a support vehicle for my Dirt bike and camping. I am setup with front and rear hitch and would like to have a portable winch setup for recovery should I get stuck. I'm not rock crawling, just a quality setup for recovering. I want to keep it in the covered bed on a quick hitch mount. Ideas?

Most winch manufacturers sell a winch tray that has a 2'' bar that fits into a 2" receiver. combine this with a set of Anderson connectors front and rear and you are in business. I have run this set up on several vehicles and also on a car trailer. I run the main power cables through a high capacity solenoid, This allows you to turn off the power to the cables when not in use. Set this up on multiple vehicles and you can move the winch from vehicle to vehicle.

I run a Warn 9.5cti receiver mounted winch.
So far I've only wired to the front of the truck. Rear wiring is in the plans.
