Jig arrived yesterday. When I get some free time I'll get to work on these. I think this was originally designed on a 93 or 94. So, I'll get it fit on a 92 and a 97. Make sure all drain holes are good etc...

Crossmember tubes are at the machinist and frame plates are made. I'll be close to finished this weekend.

Thanks J, after going through the entire redneck skid original thread i see him say 38lbs multiple times. Thats awesome considering its probably closer to only 30lbs over stock after removing the factory components!

Above you say it'll be available soon "with a few changes.".

What are the few changes you're making? I already have Cruisin Offroad skids installed but think the coverage, strength, and low weight of the Creeper Skid to be adequate and may serve me better.

One of the changes won't happen after experimenting a little. But the main ones are increasing plate to 1/4" from 3/16" and also going from A36 to Grade 50 plate. All CNC milled and cut as well.

80s are in the shop as of 10pm last night and I'll start on the plates tomorrow. I'm behind this week due to the shop expansion.

Plates are dialed in. Pictured is not the finished product. Still need to add in the gussets on the plates. These will be bent into the main plate instead of welding them in.

Fit up on both a 92 and a 97.

I was going to cut the plates today but the plate my supplier sent me was A36. Didn't notice until I flipped the sheet over to load on the table. I'll call tomorrow and get the stronger material coming.
