As it should be. Pay up or shut up.
Okay, so how do us ordinary mudders get on the “cool kids, I’m ready to put my money where my mouth is” list ?
I'll buy one if Joey can sneak it past CARB
No sneaking. It’ll be fully legit
Will CARB cert drive the price up?No sneaking. It’ll be fully legit

At this speed I’m selling my obd1 80 to buy the turbo and just keep the turbo until I get an obd2 cruiser. Lol
Absopositively! I’m not doing a “49 state” and then a second version for CA and Canada. One turbo to rule them all. If I can’t get it certified then it’s a loss for everyone especially me.
I am sure you are well down the road on the CARB route, but this is an interesting “guide”. Only 80 pages...

It’ll destroy it but you’ll have a decent collection of panties.
The other issue is that the SC isn’t available. It’s also not an option for people in CARB statessorry if this has been asked before @NLXTACY , but what are the advantages to this turbo over the trd supercharger? considering something different if it makes sense. On another post I saw it makes about the same amount of boost. I believe one benefit is that the turbo will spool up faster than a sc, correct? Just thought this was a good discussion to have.
