I'm pulling my original F engine, 3spd and TC from my '68 FJ40 for an eventual 80's 2F and a 4spd/TC. Is there anything I should keep from the F/3spd/TC that I will need for the 2F swap?

I also have a complete '75 2F (flat pistons, domed head:frown:). Is there anything worth saving from that to use for my swap? early 4spd bellhousing?

Keep Everything , Throw away nothing until your done your swap conversion ............

if u do U will need that same part next weekend .....

Entire head assembly
Timing cover
Inspection cover
Oil pan
All nuts and bolts
Harmonic balancer
Intake manifold
Exhaust manifold
Insulator
Carb
Fittings
Throttle linkage
Block

The list goes on and on
Nearly everything is valuable

To simplify:

I personally would save everything except the block internals.

Certainly keep the intake manifold (looks to be a wide-runner) and distributor (vacuum advance). Probably the carb and air cleaner.

What is that fan? If that’s a standard upgrade to an F motor (e.g. fits in standard shroud and on standard pulley) I’d be interested in it.
