For those running the Petronix Ignition, how do you know which model # to purchase? I'm looking to get rid of the points system in my Dec '73 FJ40.

They go by distributer number. Look at your distributer information and they will match it up.

Guessing you still have the stock 73 retarding dissy. If you can find an advancing dissy for the pertronix conversion, I think that's what the guru's would recommend. You'd also want the add a vac port near your idle mix screw.

Unfortunately, that is a vac retard dissy. Stop spending money on it.
