It could be a single tube if I had a section of 3" piping bent at the right angle. Using what I had in the garage, that's what worked. The big boot in the middle takes up most of the difference in angle between the IC outlet and the motor intake.

What was the other person driving?In other news, a drunk driver pulled out in front of me on my way home yesterday and I t-boned him, causing ~10k in damage to Project Mayhem according to the estimate I got this morning. It was a low speed (~30mph) collision, so the airbags didn't deploy and I'm OK, but I'm obviously I'm not happy about the accident. It looks likely that Project Mayhem will likely be totaled. Hoping I can straighten the frame, update the front end and be on my way, but we'll see how insurance works out. The market for crew cab F550 powerstrokes with manual transmissions is pretty thin
