Calling all 7/70 to 8/75 FJ40 owners!

I'm in need of patterns for 14 lines within those build dates. I have patterns for 25 different lines but want to be able to help all dates. So here's the deal:

If you have a Cruiser within the above dates and are in the process of working on your truck and can spare some time without a few brake lines, I'll supply you with new Rainman's Brake Lines in exchange for a good unmolested line from those years. In other words, when you remove the line and it still lines up with the fittings at both ends and doesn't have unnecessary wrinkles in it, you ship me the line, I'll ship you a new one that will never corrode. If you have a good full set for one of those years, you could get a complete new set to install. But please, the old lines have to be usable.

Post here or PM me if you can help.

My new website should be up very soon...

Brake line porn... Watch your eyes.

Explaining a few things again for those who are new to this thread.
The unions in the two firewall lines are there for two reasons. One is for shipping ease. I can ship in a much narrower box. The BIG reason is for installation. If the engine and brake booster are still in the truck, it's nearly impossible to install these two lines. This union is placed so that it makes installing take far less time.
As far as the other lines go, a few may look different but that's just my simplifying a few areas with either wasted bends or getting some sections out of the way of other issues.

This is a full kit for 9/75 through 7/80

I don't want to start an argument but I can't for the life of me let this go unmentioned. I've read a couple of folks have had some success buying Classic lines. Congrats. I was not so lucky. So I went back to there site and found this image for 1975 through 1980 line kits. For one thing, if you have an 8/75 FJ40, these lines won't fit. (as a whole kit.) If you have an 8/80 FJ40, these lines won't fit. (as a whole kit.)

Only bringing up the obvious in this image, what are these bends circled in red for? It's not for shipping. In stainless steel, good luck getting those bends out and leaving straight tubing. Without specific machinery, you won't.

The top circle is the chassis line. There are two bends that shouldn't be there.
The next circle is the rear axle long line. I didn't realize the diff was flat on top.
The last circle is on the Master Cylinder to rear line. That 90 degree bend is near impossible to remove without crimping the line somehow. It should go straight down to the frame. It CAN NOT be used the way it is shown. It's the exact way my order showed up. I even called about it but they claimed they were right.

My lines are more expensive but I make them by hand one line at a time. So far and as far as I've been told, every one of them fit. If someone gets one that doesn't, I'll replace it for free.

This photo was grabbed off the web just a few minutes ago. This one taken a few hours ago.

Anyone notice the difference besides me?
There. I've got it off of my mind...

My site, the NEW site is up. Still making nomad changes daily but it's close enough to post. Linked in my signature. Take a look!

Site looks great, Rainey!

Ya-this is cool. I don't need any right now, but these look great.

Working daily on lines and boxes and the website and researching all the changes Toyota made. It's mind numbing. Then I notice in a break this morning... Wait! This lines for the early kits won't fit in the same box that all the other years will. Crap!

So I just ordered a small batch of custom boxes just for the early kits. Only problem is I have to put shipping bends on 4 lines. This will do two things. Make the shipping cost lower by a noticeable amount and only take a few minutes for the customer to remove. Box will come with detailed instructions to prevent wrinkled lines. It's a necessary evil that's all.

I am pumped about the new boxes though. I'm glad I won't have to make them from scratch anymore.

Here's a mock up of one of the new boxes I'm having made... This is for the early Cruisers. All the others get a long skinny box.

(the web address is updated on this one.)

And just so you'll know... Both ends of every line get full attention. My iPhone didn't take the best pictures but the best I can get. The left side shows the chamfer after cutting and the right shows the clean double flare. No cuts, splits or shavings.

And here it is. For the Dual MC swap on the Early FJ40s, this is the front master cylinder line pattern. @Spike Strip, this one's for your truck.
(Imagine it around 90 degrees clockwise.)

And with the help of a tape measure and some time from @Spike Strip again, here are the two pattern lines for E-6/70 FJ40s with either the original single master cylinder (upper line) or after a dual MC swap (lower line). Both will clip into the bracket off of the steering box.

I'm finally getting to a test I've thought about for some time. The dreaded:

CORROSION TEST

I'll leave these lines in the mud for 6 months or so. I'll check them from time to time by pulling up the short lines in there and leave the curled up ones alone. I'm curios about the poly lines and galvanized lines mostly. I think I know how the NiCop and SS lines will do.

Okay guys. I've got good news!

Tomorrow's a big day for me and some customers. The first shipment of my custom boxes for '70 and up Cruisers will be here tomorrow and finally my supplier will have new lines and nuts here tomorrow!

I can start bending lines again and ship some kits. Those of you that have ordered lately (since just before the hurricanes came through) will start to see your kits soon. Thanks for being so patient.

You have been a great guy to deal with and I am really excited to be getting one for he first shipments. Everything looks A+ from here.

Is there anyone out there that can take a shot or two of the firewall showing the brake line from the MC on a 7/70 through 8/71 FJ40? I've got a donor line here and I want to make sure the bends are all accurate. I'd also like to see if there are any crazy bends that can be removed for a cleaner more sensible path.

No rush... This afternoon is fine...................
