Has anyone tried a ratio adapter like this? Link Ratio Adapter

Curious how much room is under there & if the offset or straight through version would fit best? I know, crawl under there - but I'm at work and I'm impatient.

What is the thread size/pitch on the tranny end of the speedo?

I know there is a lot of info on here about swapping out some speedo gears in the tranny, but from what I remember, even the best one just gets it a little closer than it is now. I'm getting av average of 8.7 miles on my odometer for every 10 miles traveled - at least according to the guy who put up the mile markers on highway 41. Seems like this option would get it as close as a modern day vehicle.

Thoughts?

Straight through fits perfectly, but you need the Toyota thread pitch.

Did you end up buying a ratio adapter after your research?

I'm in the process of having some 3.70 3rd members built for my rig. As soon as I get them installed and can calibrate the existing speedometer ratio with the new set-up, I'll give them a call.
