Newbie to FJ 80 (1 Viewer)

Just picked up an HDJ 80 the other day, and have a question about the transfer case. For on road use, does the lever have to be in 4 high? In addition, the Center Diff Lock is lit. Is that supposed to be on as well? Lever for transfer case moves freely. Oh, and it is a five speed too.

Yes 4H for the road

Do not drive on dry roads with CDL on

check if your CDL button is pressed (if you have one)

Lever is in 4 high diff lock button is not pushed in. Pushed repeatedly to no avail.

Try to disengage wail moving slowly. By releasing the CDL push button you should be in 4H
