If its the rig in your avatar, you have a rare 58? Fj28... front right frame horn should have the vin stamped in it.

my old girl FJ28...:) I bought another one...FJ45P...its got the older style side steps but has indicators on the panels with the LandCruiser emblems...just wanted to know if it's a short bed or a long bed...and what year model..if one can help...really appreciate it! Vin only says FJ45-40623 and the ID plate, on the inside of the RHS guard..reading FJ45P-40623...no year model...

It looks like a 69 long bed, think the early running boards were up to 69 and markers were mandated in 68 at least here in the US.Great looking ute!

Mine's a 1969, frame FJ45-40045, and I reckon it is September/October 1969. It has the clear indicator lenses but no side markers. Difficult to know as there are no records but some parts are specific to the period 3/69-9/69 so maybe the side markers came after that. SOR only has frame numbers up to 1968 when US imports stopped but from that chart Toyota seemed to make about 4-500 per month.

My new 45... pics coming soon :D

Help with identification please. Chassis no. FJ45 31644 Eng no F 356166 RHD Cab Chassis in Australia. 3 spd
Have been told its a 67. Has ribbed dash panel, steel doors and twin overhead wipers. Any assistance appreciated.

I'm excited to report a new VIN to the group. It appears to be the earliest known FJ45 on the registry. As a bonus she is a factory Short Bed. But wait, there's more- she is fully frame off restored! Love this rig, but she will be for sale soon (or maybe i will keep).

2-FJ4511941 (which is 2-11941 the way we are logging them here.

You need to get this on the fixed top registry, this looks to be the earliest if it is a USA spec lhd. There are a few older ones but they are from New Zealand. Very nice truck, should have a centered rear diff from the factory. What color is that.

It was brought to Panama- presumably from the US as it is a LHD. Heath Grey is the color.

I'm pretty sure I've posted my Vin but it has t been added. Was about a year ago. How do I get on the list?

Not an FJ!

I see nowhere else here on ih8ud for this besides here. This truck is now on US soil after living it's life in Latin America.
