FJ40 With A Rat Rod Paint Job? (1 Viewer)

Anybody seen an FJ40 with a distressed rat rod type paint job? I've got a fiberglass tub so real rust isn't an issue.

Was actually thinking of using waterborne acrylic and flat sanding to get some rub thru to the base coat, then a clear matte to richen the colors.

Any thoughts/experience?

I've seen a "patina paint job" done by Proffitt's Resurrection in Austin, CO. These guys can do pretty much anything on a 40.
