Flaming River steering U joint question (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me what spline is used on the input shaft of an FJ60 steering box? Doing a PS upgrade in the future and have to order the U-joint from Flaming River that will go onto the input shaft of the FJ60 box. Any information would be highly appreciated! Thanks, Gary S

"The input shaft on a 60 steering box is 17.5mm x 36 splines. Borgeson doesn't offer offer u-joints in this size, but a 11/16 - 36 u-joint (.001 smaller) which is a stock item from them will fit without problem. "

I have found that the Borgeson equivalents can sometimes be cheaper than Flaming River components.

Hello- An FJ60 steering shaft...are the spline counts the same on both ends? Would the same ujoint assembly work in both locations?
