I have a 1971 FJ40 with a 1981 2F engine. Which mechanical fuel pump(s) can I use?

do you have 2 or 3 lines on your fuel pump?

I do have a pump with three lines that I can use but don't know what do with the third line. Just seeing if I can use an earlier pump with two lines. One in/one out to use with my '71 fuel tank.

A 71 pump can be installed, or a 81 pump & spacer.

The '71 didn't come with any provisions for a return line, so the 61011 FP is a cleaner option. The 69035 that would have been original to the '71 is NLA.

Depends on the tank you've I guess since, as Mark said it doesn't have a return line provision
