That is a different style of setup to mine. I will have to take a pic, thought I had one on the puter already

I took the AC off because I think NZ is generally too cold to warrant having it!
But it was useful for demisting the inside of all my windows in wet weather (when there were lots of damp bodies inside).
The parts where you live anyway. Plenty of forced ventilation there.
This country has plenty of places hot enough to need it, where I am now it's the humidity that makes it a necessity for defogging.
Well, I found the 3B compressor mount and idler/crank pulley at SOR. Now I just need the:
compressor
diesel a/c amplifier
condenser
evaporator
vents
I was told in a different thread that several of the a/c parts from the FJ40 and BJ73 will work in the BJ42. Since FJ40 parts are so readily available, does anyone know which parts from an FJ40 will work in the BJ42 ?
I'm guessing evaporator and condenser ??
I'm looking at the CAD drawings of a 3B mount in the FAQ section.

Now to find a competent welder willing to do it.
Hi. Did you end up doing a “How to” write-up for the AC install? Thanks rutbeer and rosco!
Roberto if it isnt too much trouble I sure could use a good pic of that AC bracket, (and rough dimensions if poss). The only one I have I found by scouring the net and it isnt very good.
While you are there a pic of the pulley might be useful aswell.
I am thinking of cerating a how-to with photos once I figure all this out.
